It has
been an exciting summer so far! I recently learned that I
am a recipient of a 2006 Scottish
Arts Council New Writers Bursary to complete my current
project, an illustrated adventure-fantasy novel aimed at ages
9 and older. I am excited and honored to receive this support
and I look forward to announcing my book's completion here
in the new year!

Thanks
to the many people who have visited and bought my products
since I launched my shop last autumn! I am delighted to say
I have had great reports on the quality of the products. I
have just added a couple of new products: my Island
Tote Bag and Island Mug, which are ideal for summer
fun on the beach.
I will
be adding new products this autumn in time for Christmas.

Exhibitions
Thanks
to everyone who has purchased artworks, cards and prints over
the past few months at sales and exhibitions. Thanks especially
to the Hillfoot Café & Gallery at 17 Hillfoot Street
in Dennistoun, Glasgow, for showing my miniature paintings
and prints in June and July.
