Get your imagination started with Shadow Island!
During my school visits I meet many children who love to write but say they can’t think of any ideas. I decided to make an illustrated map of an imaginary island that might make a great setting for stories. I’ve called it Shadow Island and it might be a place where an adventure, pirate or ghost story takes place. You decide!
Make up your own characters and decide how they get onto Shadow Island, what happens when they are there and how they escape. Add some exciting illustrations too!
Bookplates!
To help you keep track of all your books, I have put together some bookplates with characters for you to print out, cut out and paste into the front page of your books.
